Printed bid documents may be obtained by contacting and sending a deposit to the office Alabama Graphics at 205 252-8505 for $100.00 per set + shipping costs. The deposit will be refunded for printed documents returned in good condition one week after submitting a bid.

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Jacksonville, Alabama at the City Hall Conference Room at 320 Church Avenue Southeast, Jacksonville, Alabama until 2 PM local time on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, for the project “A Community Safe Room for the City of Jacksonville, Alabama” from General Contractors licensed in the State of Alabama. This project includes furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment, and for constructing the Work according to the plans and specifications described in the Bid Documents. A bid bond is required.

A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the site at 2 PM on Thursday, September 11, 2025. The site address is 619 Gardner Drive, SE, Jacksonville, AL  36265. It is on the site of the closed Eastwood High School.

• Renovations to a former 1930’s wood framed clapboard residence
