Sealed proposals will be received by Madison County Commission at Madison County Courthouse, 100 Northside Square, 7th floor, Huntsville, AL 35801 until 2:00 p.m. on February 26, 2026 for Madison County VFD Upgrades and Training Tower, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. on February 17, 2026, at 300 Shields Road, Huntsville, AL 35811. Because of the nature of this project, Prime General Contractor bidders who have been pre-approved must attend the Pre-bid Conference. If the number of bidders who attend the Pre-Bid Conference decreases so there is little or no competition, the Bid may be postponed at the discretion of the Owner.

This project consists of upgrades to the existing Madison County Volunteer Fire Department facility, including:

• Existing building access control and camera upgrades

• Construction of a fire training tower

• Site work, including paving, gates, and exterior lighting.
