Sealed proposals will be received by University of North Alabama, Facilities Training Room, 1660 Tune Avenue, Florence, Alabama 35632, until 2:00 PM. local time, Thursday, July 18th, 2024, for Residence Hall at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.

The project will consist of a new 7-story student residence building.

• It will house an ICC-500 rated storm shelter on the first floor.

• The basement and first floor is framed with reinforced concrete.

• The upper five floors are framed with panelized load bearing studs.

The Owner intends to award a single contract for this work to a single pre-qualified General Contractor

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the offices of UNA Department of Facilities Administration and Planning, Facilities Training Room, 1660 Tune Avenue, Florence, Alabama 35632 at 10:00 AM local time, Thursday, June 13th, 2024. Attendance at Pre-Bid Conference by General Contractor Bidders is Mandatory.
