Sealed bids will be received by the Swearengin Water System located at 5100 Swearengin Road, Scottsboro, AL 35769, until Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. CST, and then publicly opened and read aloud for performing all work described as follows:

IIJA Energy Upgrades and ARPA Tank Refurbishment

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. CST, at Swearengin Water System’s office located at 5100 Swearengin Road, Scottsboro, AL 35769. An optional site visit will follow the pre-bid meeting.

The project consists of:

• Rehabilitation to one (1) elevated steel water storage tank

• Installation of two (2) variable frequency drives at each of two (2) booster pump stations

• Installation of one (1) chlorine analyzer at each of two (2) booster pump stations functional lagoon treatment system

• SCADA integration at all locations
